Synopsis:

A Peruvian filmmaker moves to Portugal to start a family and faces the challenges of being a foreigner in a new place. Wishing to make friends while waiting for his appointment with AIMA (Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum), he reaches out to various people, inviting them to take part in a “film about memory” he is working on.

Initially, he connects with the archivists at the Lisbon videotheque and a university professor of neurology, seeking information on the subject of memory. However, these encounters soon spark a series of moments in which he forms bonds with a wide range of people — from amateur football players and his partner’s grandmother to a senior citizens' theater group and a few Lisbon-based aviation enthusiasts.

The film, which blends the present with footage from his personal archive, ultimately becomes a portrait of the city of Lisbon seen through the eyes of someone trying to find a sense of belonging, while navigating the uncertainties of the Portuguese immigration system.
